Wear Your Voice Magazine, which launched February 1st, published an article featuring the boys of Chopsticks Urban Art Space and I at our “Defamation of Characters” art show this month at Lower Branch Gallery in San Francisco. This article gives you a small glimpse of the amazing 101 works-of-art on the walls of Lower Branch, as well as a small snippet from me about my artwork. Bling!
This show runs through Tuesday February 11, 2014 and can be viewed through appointment only. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Much love to Paolo and JC for an amazing opening night at their gallery and Ravneet, from WYV Mag, for putting Chopsticks in the limelight with this article.
Tomorrow night, April 26th 2013, I will be painting LIVE at the First Base One Year Anniversary extravaganza in San Francisco, CA. I am not only excited to be painting along side some amazing DJ’s I’ve had crushes on since I was in junior college, but I am also honored to be a resident artist for such an amazing group of ladies who throw down and work super hard every month to bring the Bay an amazing night of fun. Grab your cheap tickets and event info on Eventbrite and I hope to see y’all on the dance floor.
I am excited to be apart of this amazing show currently showing in San Francisco, CA. “Visions and Reflections” at Gauntlet Gallery features work from 50 of the best Bay Area artists who created 12″x12″ pieces inspired by the exhibition’s title. “Modern Man’s Hustle” is my “reflection” on our willful embrace of a system that rewards our worst traits as human beings and continues to force feed our desire for unnecessary crap.
“Visions and Reflections” runs from April 13th-May 18th 2013. Check the Gauntlet Gallery for more information, event pics, and gallery hours.
